Nice change of OS

I've used iPhones for 4 years. I got an Android tablet last year that I really like and have become bored with "the fruit company's" apparent lack of creativity and innovation. The Note 2 solves the problem of carrying 2 devices and the boredom of the same OS year after year after year.
The things I like about this device are among aother things, the customizable Android 4.1 OS, BIG hi-resolution screen, great features like S-pen, gestures, NFC etc., the list goes on and on. Also, I didn't have a problem finding all of the main apps that I used on the iPhone in the Google Play Store and they all look just as good if not better in some cases.
Despite it's immense size (a Galaxy S3 seems like a "normal" size phone) it still fits in my pocket due in part to the thinness of the phone. Far less obtrusive than my iPhone 4.
Overall this is a refreshing departure from iOS devices. The size may not work for everyone, (I've had it for almost a week and haven't quite gotten used to it), but if you are looking for a compromise between a phone and a tablet to get back to one device, this will more than fit the bill.
Pros: big, decent battery life, flexible os
Cons: expensive, big (at first)

I simply love this product. I had my eye on it since I first hear rumours about it release. The biggest plus is its 5.5 inches screen which you could get accustomed to in a matter of hours. Its huge but its not - I would recommend this phone for professionals and tech enthusiasts alike as there are many useful features this phone offers that are just too good to be ignored.

When I was using my original Galaxy Note I was content with their features. Now with the Galaxy Note 2 I am super happy with all the features. You got to have it in your hands to experiment all you can do with it. I still learning with Samsung videos. It make it easy.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, fast operations, no lag at all in any field
Cons: plastic cover, car mode feature missing with the new dock

Best Phone I have owned!

I have the Galaxy Note 2 and absolutely love it. I wasn't sure whether I would like it because it is bigger than the iphone I had prior to this phone, but I really like it. I have found that the Android system is easy to use and I love all the options I have with the Note 2. Thanks Samsung, Great job!

Samsung did an amazing job with this phone. totally won me over from apple with their styles feature. unfortunately i have been with att for a while now and upgraded with them. They dont give you head phones out of the box and removed the duel screen feature, am/fm radio tuner feature, also apple steals my texts from previous contacts that still use iphones those are a few things i know they have taken away im sure there's more i haven't realized yet.
Pros: Bright display, styles pressure sensitivity
Cons: striped down version from carrier, very expensive

Awesome cell phone. I loved the original Galaxy Note (several friends have one) and could not wait until the Note 2 came out. I'm glad that I gave up my iPhone.
