My galaxy note 2 was a great phone until it began cutting on and off by itself. It gets hot right at the camera and light. The battery never gets hot. I have been sent a new phone and a new Sim card but the same thing continues to happen.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Love My Samsung!

With my busy full life I would be lost without my Samsung Galaxy Note 2! I use it for work, for scheduling appointments, for keeping up with my family and for my business, and for my entertainment when I have time. I had the Samsung Tablet that came with it, and it was stolen. No replacement yet, so my Samsung Phone goes where I go. My grandsons love it as well. It is our television/mini movie theater at night, and at appointments. The phone is well used and worn out but I would not dream of replacing it unless Samsung has one larger, As with my age, eyesight has become another issue with seeing screens. This size was one reason I bought my phone/sidekick as my husband calls it now. I can monitor him at home, as he is home bound, and I use it to keep up with his appointments, nurse scheduling, med scheduling and sending him pictures of the world outside. I will say it again, I Love My Samsung Note 2!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to use, multi task oriented, camera is great!
Cons: cost

Practically perfect in every way

I had toiled back and forth about getting this phone and another. My first choice was the other one, but the manufacturer was being flighty with my order and was giving me the runaround. Boy am I happy that happened. I got this gem and I don't' think I've ever had a phone I enjoyed more than this one. I am in LOVE with the stylus. The size is amazing and was not hard to get used to using. Normally I get really upset with the stock software, but this is the first phone I wasn't compelled to disable every little app. The Touchwiz launcher blew me away. Not ugly at all like many of the other launchers in Android phones (and I've had PLENTY of Android phones).
I had a software issue that was quickly solved by a great tech support guy and I was happy that they stayed with me as long as I needed to so the problem was resolved.
All in all, I would recommend this phone to everyone. The Note series has won my heart.

What a great phone ,it is actually 5 stars but I know there is something better coming from Samsung .I was watching our local tech guy this A.M. . Rich on KTLA 5. He was showing the new Samsung edge phone set to come out .(no battery replacement? GOT ME THINKIN).I may have to get this one. I also would like to know the release date in the U.S.. The report was from Europe.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, large display
Cons: would like a bit slimmer and waterproof

Ive had my note 2 for about 6 months and my wife has an s5 active and besides the battery life I still enjoy my note 2 because of the spen. Right now my screen is broken and its still works so for me that is another plus cuz I had an s4 that with one break it no longer worked.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Not high def, Too big
