Love the induction cooktop after years of electric coil. Changing heat selections respond immediately. Very solid well built appliance. Highly recommend trying induction cooking and the Jennair product in particular.

We remodeled our kitchen with this stove in mind. Works better than we had hoped. The only draw back is having to buy new pots and pans. The offer for a set of new cookware put this stove on top of our list. (cant wait for them to get here.)

The control panel stainless steel area at the front top of the stove is easily scratched. It's hard to keep from scratching and will look bad in no time. The burner configuration leaves a little to be desired. The biggest burner is at the front making it hard to use a big pot and continue cooking on the smaller burners beside and behind the large burner and seems like it may be better located at the back of the stove. Some people may like this but it doesn't work all that well for my cooking style. The oven cooks really even but takes a long time to preheat. Other wise the stove top heats water faster than any other stove I have ever owned. I think it is actually faster than our microwave. I love the oven light, none better. I like the ball bearing sliding shelf and don't understand why they aren't all that same configuration.

I love this stove! to compare, I've had viking gas in the past. And I just came off of an old crummy electric, and this is by far my favorite!!! I love that the smooth top and no knobs is incredibly easy to keep clean like electric, but have just as much control and rapid response as I had with gas, and without all the mess of the grates with gas. its the best of all worlds. It is perfectly silent, not only when it heating up but also the fan from the oven is inaudible. one of my pots buzzes a bit, but it happens with my flimsiest pot. it has a huge beautifully lit oven and the baking drawer is great for when we just need small items like baked potatoes. things heat up and boil amazingly fast. they simmer beautifully and keep warm perfectly. I love that food doesn't burn onto the surface bc its cooler. not cool, but cooler. I think the controls are fairly intuitive. it took a bit of retraining from a life with knobs - but now its simple and quick. it's been cooking evenly- lovely roasted potatoes, evenly baked cookies with multiple racks running. I just couldn't be happier.

Fast Efficient Cooking!

Bought this to upgrade from an ancient cooktop and wall oven. The speed of the induction cooktop is not exaggerated and is extremely efficient. The oven itself has some lovely features, including the proof setting. There are many features with this range that you will want to reference the user manual in order to use everything correctly, however now having owned it for a few weeks I feel much more comfortable using everything.

No gas up here and time to replace the conventional and out of date electric range. Induction cooking suites the lifestyle up here: instant cooking heat, double oven and smart controls. Couldn't be happier with our choice.
