Cannot attach to camera without extra parts

Very disappointed: this attachment requires an "attachment buckle" piece that is not included (the included manual even says it's not included, but you won't find this out until you open the packaging). You cannot secure an action camera to the mount without this piece!
This renders the float useless as you cannot attach it the camera without buying another attachment product. The product itself looks decent and will float as described, but not bundling the attachment buckle with the float renders it unfit for purpose.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't Work

This float doesnt work with the new waterproof housing Sony are shipping, it is too big, interferes with the operation buttons and worst of all it makes it almost impossible to comfortably hold the unit in the hand to film. The clip you have to use to fis this is clumsy and ugly
a real shame because the rest of the camera is great but whats the point of a great camera if you cant use in in the water for the fear of it sinking

Necessity in the ocean

This floater ONLY fits the SPK-AS1 60m dive housing, and does not fit while attached to the headband mount. However if you put the floater on the actual headband, it is buoyant enough to keep the headband (VCTGM1) and the Camera inside 60m housing afloat very safely.

Stop it sinking

This is a simple product that straps to your Action Cam housing and stops it sinking to the bottom of the ocean. If you have ever dropped something, and who hasn't, get this so you don't lose the camera and all your memories.
Pros: Ease of Use, Design
