I am really excited and how fast my new range type heats up and cooks my food. It is energy efficient and I am looking forward to seeing a reduction in my electricity bill. It also looks great with my new granite counters.

Easy to clean - works great!

We bought this to replace our old coil type electric stove top. No complaints except we can't use our iron skillet anymore on the stove top. Nothing to do with Whirlpool - just the nature of the ceramic type cook top. That's the trade off you have to make.

Great idea: warmer plate!

The nice design is made better with the warmer plate option. Why didn't that idea come around sooner? With a hungry family always on the go, keeping meals warm for those coming and going is s big deal. This is a great cooktop.

Be careful with knobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works fine. My issue is that the first time I turned it on, the know snapped off. My brand new home and my first time cooking. I couldn't believe how easily it broke. Push down and turn when you use them. I haven't broken one since doing that.

Great upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is an upgrade from the kitchen aid - coil one I had and it's great. I had problems with the coil not staying flat/leveled and burning part of the food and I don't have this problem anymore. I'm usually very picky and i still couldn't find a negative point on this cooktop
