The range hood works fine now that the original fan blade was replaced with a new one they went to me for free. It still rubs against the metal plate below it but only on high speed. The unit removes smoke and odors well. The dual lights are great features that light up the stove below and surrounding counters.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Couldn't be happier with my Broan range hood. Recently remodeled a 30 year old kitchen that previously had a downdraft model. After a lot of internet research I chose the QS236SS. It is stylish and my contractor easily retrofitted this hood. It is so nice to now have a well lighted work surface and the Broan is so quiet, even on the highest speed. This proved to be an excellent choice for my kitchen.
