Looks great but poor quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] G/E small appliances just do not live up to their name. It is most noisy microwave i have owned and I expect it to quit any day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just terrible

Oven stopped working after less than 1 1/2 years. Same problem as Mrs Wax in the Q & A - everything works except food does not get hot! GE's response to Mrs Wax was tough luck, get a replacement. Shameful. I would settle for a less good looking model that lasts a decent amount of time. I am going to get a replacement - it certainly will not be a GE. Get a grip GE - you're in the customer relations business.

I got this as a gift from my parents...I am living with them temporarily. Their micro wave quit. So, we are happy to have this one right now.

Great Microwave, Even after 15 years!!

We have had this microwave fir at least 15 yeears!! I keep expecting it to go out at any time, but no!! Its a beast!! I love it!

Great microwave still works but magnetron now works intermittently or from a light tap, interested in advice on where to get one for JES1142SFC microwave! Please someone advice me!

GE is a great brand. I like that it's a has a push button versus a handle. It's a lot easier to get things in and out of the microwave. If I had to pick a dislike I would say that it doesn't beep after it is done heating or thawing anything. That could be a dislike or like. It has a child lock.

We purchase this exact microwave 13 years ago and up to today it has never giving any issues. Made of good quality that last a very long time.
today we couldn't get it to start and hope we can. But after 13 years it has probably served it's purpose.
So we will be purchasing another one. Just amazed that they still have the exact one in stock still. Thank You GE!
