Great phone! Yes, it is big....but that holds the battery that seems to last forever. I can run the phone from 5 in the morning to 10 at night and still have at least 15% left on the battery.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, battery life!, functionality, speed
Cons: high cost, not too big but large., speakers not as expected for size
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this phone

I have been using a Samsung Galaxy 3 for the last year, and i loved it. But this Note 2 blows it away. Huge screen, great software, and despite the large size, very easy to handle it. Fits easily into my pants pocket. Definitely made a good decision to get this phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable
Cons: none...

very good smartphone. Has some bugs still needs to be worked out, like I cannot turn off the flash light notification. Great feature but in some situation, I wish that I can just have the blue flashing notification instead of all or nothing. the orientation from landscape to protrait can be touchy. The battery life can be short, depending on how good of a signal you have. Being inside an operating room all day. My battery will not last more than 10 hr of mostly stdby time. Love the screen size. There are many features but I only use a few of them but it is good to have them. Needs more RAM, 2gb is a good starting point but there are so many apps running in the background eating them up that perharps 3-4gb should be std unless Samsung clean up all the bloated wares that comes with the phone that I cannot easily get rid off. The display can be difficult to read under direct sunlight. I am still waiting for the 4.2 update that Samsung promised us. Overall, one of the best smartphone out there.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, big display
Cons: Not high def, battery life can be better, display athought bright but not enough outdoor, needs more ram, needs ability to run apps from the micro sd

I was an Iphone person for yeeeeears...I switched to the Samsung Galaxy Note II and I LOVE IT! I will be getting one soon for my boyfriend--he wants a phone just like mine. I get compliments on my phone all the time!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, big screen, speakers are loud for music, s-pen is awesome!
Cons: a little pricey
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have this phone for 6 months, and I really love it. I have had an android device since they became available. I had a Samsung PDA phone back in the day that I absolutely loved and had a Samsung Omnia. I hadn't been impressed with some of the android devices until I saw the Note II. I also liked the styling and the Titanium color. I hate when phones are offered in white to look like that other white phone. Not everyone wants one or likes them, so why would I want a phone that resembles it? I am so happy with my Note II, I just bought a Note 8.0!!
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: faster firmware updates
I would recommend this to a friend!

i just want to say now, i am really not happy about appearance of "screen lock" pin entrance screen.. it looks so cheap. so in every opening i feel like i am running something bad (actually it is not.. i like my note2)
i feel same in Spen app menu.. it should be more simple and aesthetic.. like a cool-plain(not squared) notebook..
at least please fix "screen lock" pin entrance interface..
