Excellent phone! Size is deceiving...not as bad as you would think...

First I have to say this phone is by far the best phone I've ever had! I've had service with AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular and over the years have had multiple phones probably 30-40 different phones. I love the quickness of this phones processor and how everything you can run on this phone without slowing it down. Movies/video clips are amazing on this phone because of its screen size. Its slightly difficult to one-hand text, but not too bad. BATTERY LIFE = AMAZING! Better than ANY phone I've had. I currently work for one of the before mentioned carriers and everyone that comes into the store questions the size and if it will be too large to use on a daily basis. I tell them, yes its large, but you get used to it after a couple days. I previously had a Galaxy S3 and that phone feels small now. Overall this phone, FOR NOW, is the BEST phone on the market! HANDS DOWN! I know I'll be getting the next Note 3 when it's available!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, battery life, large display, quad core processor, s pen
Cons: a little pricey but well worth the $300

Used an iPhone 4 for two years and decided it was time for an upgrade. I started looking for phones a month before the Note II was released, and I was very underwhelmed with my options at the time. Buying a phone is always a tough decision when knowing that a new phone will be available within a few months, so I read many reviews and comparisons. I've had this phone for two months now, and I know I'll still love it regardless of any new phones to be released. The size was easy to get use to, and now I feel that every other phone is too small, and I can't go back to those anymore. The only time size is really an issue for me is when I'm listening to music while at the gym. It still fits in my pocket, but I have to be cautious to not let it drop out when inclining my legs, and to not crush it when placing dumbells on my lap.
There are only a few negative things I can think of with this phone. On the iphone, you can double-tap the top of the screen to return to the top of pages in the browser. The Note II allows you to tap the top of the phone for the same function, but it only works in the contacts menu. Another, Verizon users don't have access to a lot of multi-task apps. Finally, The S-Note app, though it's a great app and I use it frequently, it is kind of slow.
Other than that, it's a great phone. I hardly ever close apps, and I've never had slow downs, battery life is great and will definitely last a full day with heavy use, pictures come on wonderful, speakers are loud, and the screen looks great! Wouldbuyagain/10

The size of the Note2 is the best compromise between form and function. Movies are crisp and the sound is amazing. I love taking slow motion videos and pictures with added effects. The phone fits nicely in my pocket and feels comfortable in my hand. Good product! I will never buy another small cell.

The Note 2 is by far the best smartphone I've ever had the pleasure of using. Let me preface this by saying, I have been buying smartphones for many years. Before they became big in the US, I ordered them from overseas for my Tmobile account. I also managed a Verizon Wireless retail store and ever since the Original Droid was released, I have upgraded to a new phone almost every 6 months. With that being said, the Note 2 is intuitive, responsive, has a crisp display and is a information powerhouse. Yet, it's also one of the funnest devices I've used. It allows creativity to come alive with apps like Paper Artist and S Note. Videos will make your friends jealous and the sound on the speakers will drown out any near by noise. My only critique is that I wish the native keyboard would input predictions instead of just showing them to you. Battery life is great! I hammer my phone and still get 8hrs easily. Light usage will run from 6am to 10pm easily. The phone is light and the stylus coupled with it's additional features has a little learning curve, but is worth the investment! I will only upgrade to the next iteration of this device!

This phone isn't for everyone but no phone is. At first it seems big but once you use it for about a week it makes every other phone seem tiny. I don't think i would be able to go back to a "standard" sized phone. Its awesome if you appreciate what is actually inside of your phone.
