Great mechless digital car stereo!

I have bought 2 of these. One to replace a sony CD-Xplod unit that worked fine but had no usb aux or anything fancy, free is not fancy but it sounded great!
I only use the USB function and it works SUPER FAST! press a button and the song or album switches instantly on a 16gb mini/micro usb that is as small as possible while still having some higher read speed. Read speed of the usb flash disk is the only important thing. Copy your cds to mp3 196kbps up to 320kpbs and write it all once. I have about 25 artists and using 13gb on the disk.
The options are very functional and intelligent. Dimmer, turn off aux, turn off demo, change info to Time, everything just read the manual its well documented.
Strange however on one car it gets very loud around 20 but the other it requires about 30 to be the same volume DB. This is probally mostly due to the speakers and location. Both vehicles sound great nonetheless.
I do not use the remote control, its still in its packaging in the original box
Saddest thing is that many places local and online are out of stock!
Get this for a simple and well equipped USB or AUX sound system.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Functional but not intuitive

This radio does everything I would like it to do but I have to keep the owner's manual on hand because the controls (at least to me) are not intuitive. For example: when I plug in an iPod through the USB connection, I want to be able to maintain the iPod's onboard controls--not have to use the buttons on the radio to choose a song, etc. Unfortunately this radio's default mode is to transfer control from the iPod to the radio. To get it back, I have to click through a series of commands that is hard to remember and requires referring to the manual. Simplicity was the primary feature I was looking for in a radio. This one does seem to be more simple than many of its competitors, with their seizure-inducing dynamic graphics and impossibly complex button/touchscreen combinations. However, I wish this one were even more simple, or perhaps more customizable so I could choose simpler defaults.
Other than that, the radio works great, gets decent reception even here in the mountains, and provides good sound.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome sound. Easy to use, but sorry to see no AAC playback.
