This is an excellent pot, with one exception. The pot lid gets very hot when in use. Not what I expect from cuisinart.

I have been very happy with pot as a pot, i bought it for straining feature and I wish it had pouring spouts on each side for left and right handed users and that the spouts were a little bigger or wider to help drain liquid quicker.

Having used non-stick cookware for 30 years, I very recently switched to Cuisinart stainless steel. Cooking a liquid-based meal worked great! Still struggling with the heat transfer (seems like stainless steel gets much hotter).
