I cannot say enough wonderful things about this fridge! Food stays crisp and fresh longer and the shelves are adjustable. We can fit so much food in this fridge for parties and a pizza box. Absolutely worth the money!!!!

Flexable Interior

Purchased several months ago and we are very happy with the refrigerator. The Temperature controlled drawer is handy for access to items you use every day. The interior space is very flexible. We replaced a refrigerator the same size but another brand and the Whirlpool seems to have much more usable space. The stay fresh drawer for vegetables and fruit is great. The only reason that we gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that there was no option for a textured finish on the exterior. Overall we love the unit and would recommend it.

Looks Good, but who has the time?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a brand new appliance in our home at the beginning of May. Within a couple weeks the middle mullion strip was not pivoting when we would open both doors at once or open the right then left. This means that if you shut the right one first, the mullion will hit the outside of the door next to it. Hit it hard enough and I am worried it will crack the mullion or worse damage the stainless steel outside of the door it hits against. I needed to schedule a four hour window to be home for the diagnosis. I then needed to schedule another 4 hour window to be home for the actual repair.The repair lasted 3 months.The mullion is not pivoting again and the process begins again. I also found it interesting when I called this time, that Whirlpool had no record of the previous repair.There is also a little drip that freezes from under the ice maker. I hope it is just some condensation that is freezing and not a sign of something not quite right.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Large and convenient

The Mercedes Benz of Refrigerators

My wife and I purchased this a month ago and have found that this is the best refrigerator that we have had in 38 years of marriage. Whirlpool engineers have done an exquisite job of designing it! From the spacious doors to the lighted shelves and all of the led lights surrounding the inside, they have thought of everything. Two pullout drawers which automatically close with a touch are great to divide space for produce as weWell as cold cuts...and a defrosting section is phenomenal . An ice maker which dispenses ice within seconds ...and no grinding and waiting. The freezer has two great drawers and a deep storage section with a pizza section in the door/drawer. We keep our salad plates on one shelf/drawer of the freezer .....all in all one could not ask for more in a refrigerator. Whirlpool, you have a true winner here.
