Major problem

I don't understand it, but somehow my state tax changed significantly between my printing it out and it being transmitted to NY State. The printed (and PDF) version includes my required NY City tax, while the sent version left it out. I can't figure it out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

charged twice for 2020 software

In November 2020 I replaced my computer. Unfortunately I had already ordered my tax software and received my e-mail with activation code. My old computer crapped out and I had not printed the e-mail. So my activation code was lost to me. I ended up re-purchasing the software because I could not figure out how to get the one I already had. So, not great customer service in the purchase area.

These programs are rejected by IRS. IRS says it is a flaw with H&R program. because of AGI

Installation and Update Don't work

I installed this software to a second drive as I didn't have room on the default C: drive. The software appeared to install fine, but then the updates would not work. Very poor installer design.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Repetitive questions for simple return

Took way too long for a single person making 110k stabdard deduction and 2 1099 for minimal interest received from credit union and ally invest. Wow took an hour, repetitive trying to appear I got something for my money. I'm going back to TurboTax next year.
