Great fridge!!

I love this fridge with the exception of the ice maker. It is in the door so it is pretty loud when the ice drops and it does not produce enough ice for my family of 4.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We love the size, plenty of storage. The exterior is beautiful and is the highlight of our kitchen. This is a five star side by side refrigerator!

Bad Design

I had my kitchen redone and purchased this to replace a 20 year old GE. I have to say the 20 year old GE was a better made refrigerator than this one. This one is poorly designed--not enough shelf options in fridge and in the freezer. Having shelves in the freezer rather than roll out baskets is not practical. Not everybody stores boxed foods. Having said that, most of the refrigerators I looked at were similar in that respect. This fridge doesn't seem to have enough space compared to my old GE; yet, they have the same cubic footage. Another thing is that the temperature in the fridge section seems to fluctuate too much. The best thing about it is the ice and water dispenser.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great overall

Brought this in Oct 2014, overall I like it, but the shelves I wish had more options for placement. Also couldn't see where the small (width and length) door shelf(?) goes. Ice maker is bit noisy.

Always loved side by side refrigerators, but this one has everything at touch of a finger, temperature and everything, love not losing space for ice maker, right in door, gives even more space..it even lets you know if door is open too long, it beeps...such a terrific design

Heaven filled space

We purchased our new 26 cu ft whirlpool side by side and was amazed with all the storage space and the movable shelves. Heaven sent when planning for family or just right for the two of you. Vegetable bin and meat drawer are great. So nice to open and look in and see exactly what you have. No more hidden moldy items with these clear drawers. Choosing a refrigerator and the ice maker everyone has there choice.
