Very roomy and easy visibility of everything in the fridge

We are delighted with our new Whirlpool Refrigerator. We've had Whirlpool refrigerators for many years and with each new one we've gotten more and more special features. This new one fits perfectly in our shiney new white kitchen, right down to the handles being the same finish as our door/drawer pulls. And how nice to find a nice white finish that matches our cabinets. No industrial/institutional style appliances for us!

Appliance of the Future

The style and appearance is so sleek and modern, I feel like I I have the appliance of the future! The chrome accent handles are awesome and cleaning the black texture without streaks is a breeze. I purchased the 4 piece package of the black ice appliances, and it makes my kitchen looks like a million dollars. I did comparison shopping prior to purchasing and the price was not over the top, like some others, yet the Whirlpool Gold, looked more stylish and awesome. They add such a clean and stylish appearance in my kitchen. I have seen other people's high high end appliances, and they don't hold a candle to my black ice. And no one I know says they LOVE their appliances, except me!!

Overall a great fridge

Stylish and functional. Plenty of space and features. Well lighted refrigerator and freezer. Easy to operate controls for ice and water. I like the separate levers for ice and water instead of some models using one and requiring a button selection for ice or water.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the look of this refrigerator, I needed to have white appliancesin my kitchen, but I didn't want just plain white, and I thought stainless was getting a little overdone, so I was happy to find this new White Ice line. Tthe stainless accents look great, and really update my kitchen!The refrigerator has lots of room inside, and the freezer is very roomy as well. The drawers roll out nicely, and there is ample room in the door. I also like the blue light in the water/ice door feature.Beauty and functionality all in one nice package!

I am disappointed with how loud this refrigerator is. This is the 4th refrigerator I have purchased over the years and I do not remember ever complaining about the noise. I like the ice maker in the door, but can not believe how much louder all the functions of the ice marker are, louder then any other ice maker I have used. It is not just the ice maker, the refrigerator is louder then my dishwasher! About quality control, I had to clean the inside of the refrigerator. It had what looked like the shaving you would get from drilling plastic. As if no one clean the refrigerator after installing the shelves. I had to remove the covers for the light bulbs as the shaving were also laying inside. The 3 draws in the refrigerator do not open very far as they hit the door. For the most part I have always purchased Whirlpool, this is the first time I am disappointed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nicely designed with great features

Nice looking, reasonably priced, efficient, well functioning unit that is very quiet. You can hear the ice drop when the ice maker is on but that is normal with any refrigerator with built in ice maker,. Otherwise unit is very quiet. Have had the unit for 3 months and we are very pleased with it. Would definitely recommend this unit.
