Very Unhappy Customer

We bought a new Whirlpool Refrigerator in August, 2014 and have had so many problems with the ice maker not making ice. This has necessitated 3 repair calls to fix it from Island Appliance. Island Appliance is so much more reliable than our refrigerator. They replaced the motor twice and the ice maker twice. They also replaced the computer. Not happy with the new refrigerator at all and on the occasion of another service call, I will demand a new refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a month ago and am so pleased with it. This refrigerator is great it keeps all of the products cold and produce fresh. The freezer is amazing.

Disappointing

I love the interior of both the freezer and refrigeration and it cools beautifully. The downside is the NOISY ice cube drop and the noise it makes when operating. Insulation in the doors.Would have made such a difference!

Inside and outside the refrigerator works great. It makes great ice cubes and cold water accessible through the door and plenty of room on the inside for frozen items and vegetables and fruit.

Bought a month ago. Gets job done. Noisy as other reviews had stated. Wish the doors were the texture of the sides. (Sides are textured, doors are smooth) Smooth doors scratch easily.Ice box could be bigger to hold more ice.

Great Features But Makes Noises and Drips Water

I bought this refrigerator 3 months ago and I really enjoyed my purchase at first. After about a month I started to notice water dripping from the compartment where my filter is and the refrigerator started making a knocking sound that lasts for well over a hour at a time. I had a service guy come out and he trouble shot and electronically reset the controls. He said the knocking noise was normal and should only last a minute or two at the most, but my refrigerator is still making this knocking noise and still lasting a hour or more. Also, for the drip where my filter is the guy thought the filter may just have a bad seal so he just removed the filter completely. This did not work and the slow drip is still happening. Needless to say I have the service guy scheduled to come out again to look at my refrigerator. I know whirlpool makes great products so I am sure this was just a needle in a haystack, but I just want to get my problems resolved. I do love the features and look of this refrigerator.
