Quite honestly, I will continue to use TurboTax because it is effective and cheaper than the method I used (an accountant with one of the major tax filers that guarantees the best return...then takes much of it, also).
It is fairly easy to use, and seems to be secure online.

What's not so great: sometimes challenging to navigate, sometimes needs clearer phrasing

I have been using turbo tax since I was able to file my own returns 10 years ago. Its always a flawless experience. Never a single problem.
What's great about it: simple to use, easy to navigate
What's not so great: the whole paying the government part

Very easy to find all of the deductions and credits. It helps to correctly fill out all of the forms and file the tax refund. Easy to do your own taxes

Taxing Myself

Even though Turbo Tax makes the process more simple, the gov't will probably never make is simple. Year by year Turbo Tax has given me a very easy step by step guide. I have appreciated the ability of Turbo Tax to look into my previous years filing and draw data out of it, without me having to reenter that data.
What's great about it: Fairly Basic
What's not so great: Whole process way to complex
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Nice and Easy

It is very helpful having the side-by-side comparison from the previous year. Would be great to have a feature to print a checklist of all the input forms used from various institutions the previous year before you start (e.g. what 1099's and from what companies).
What's great about it: Prompts you through each step. Great for filers that do not have too much complexity

This is my 4th year using Turbo Tax and I still love it. My return has gotten a bit more complex over the years, but TurboTax still makes it super easy to file. I'm not a financial genius and don't understand the tax process too well, but this makes me feel confident that I'm following the right process.
What's great about it: Easy, Lots of Help, Logical
What's not so great: A bit high price
