Fast And Simple to use. My 12 year old twins understood the process. I actually have them read the questions and enter the data. I just lead them in the right direction.

I've been using TurboTax for 20 years and it gets easier every year. Lots of error checks and suggestions for deductions.

What's great about it: Audit risk review, charitable contributions wizard
What's not so great: Sometimes creates forms I don't need - extra work to delete
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This software was easy to use and seemed to get me the most money back possible. We went through every opportunity to save and deduct as well as imported my earnings from employer and stock exchange trading.
What's great about it: Several opportunities to review and clarify

Turbo Tax is an easy way to do you taxes yourself. It provides you with step by step instructions with explanations.
What's great about it: walks you through step by step for all deductions & credits

Overall, it was a pretty easy program to use, and I'd definitely use it again.
What's great about it: It gives you all the options you need to get your full refund
What's not so great: Some help screens were still tough to understand

Try and add more things for law enforcement officers and military personnel.
What's great about it: Easy to get through, navigate and Saves me money!
What's not so great: I am a police officer and the program didn't really specify for my job.

I love Turbo Tax. It is inexpensive, but I feel like I get every cent I am owed. I don't believe paying more for an accountant or another service would get me more money.
What's great about it: lead me all the way

Great Software

My returns are easy everything is pretty much by the book and turbo tax helped me keep everything straight just plug in the info. If your returns are more complicated you may find some of the terms confusing. I also had some trouble with the state return. Most of the info auto-fills once you complete the federal but I like to go over everything for my piece of mind and I had trouble figuring out how to back track. This is the first year I had this issue and I have been using Turbo tax for almost 10 years.
What's great about it: Great if you have an easy return
