What's great about it: easy to use and remembers pertinent info from previous years
What's not so great: not being able to bypass certain steps you know you don't have can be annoying

Turbotax gets better every year!

I've used your product for years and it gets better and easier every year. The interface is quite user friendly and understandable to navigate. I trust the product for analyzing and submitting a perfect filing each year. I've never had a problem nor an audit.
What's great about it: Detailed checking for accuracy, SO easy to use!
What's not so great: None!

I have been using this for the second year, TurboTax is extremely easy to use and very detailed.
What's great about it: Easy to use, perfect guidance and filed with confidence
What's not so great: At times too much details, there must be visit all option for all pages
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Taxes Made Easy!

Turbo Tax is an easy-to-use program that allows anybody to do their own taxes in a short time with confidence. It is very thorough, but leads the user through each step so there's no confusion. The helpful explanations and linked IRS reference materials are fantastic and truly provide answers to any questions that pop up during your tax preparations.
What's great about it: Easy to use, thorough, and provides in-depth references and help where needed.
What's not so great: None

The software is really easy to use. Get a little tired of clicking all the boxes but that is our tax system and the software does a great job of walking you through it.

Sometimes leaves me guessing!

Most of the process went smoothly until I got to the review section of state taxes. A notice came up that said I needed to fill in one empty box concerning whether my pension was a railroad pension, a private pension, or three or four other types of pension. I was able to quickly eliminate all but two of the choices so I picked "private pension" and noticed at top of the screen that my state refund increased by roughly $150 or so. I went onto the next screen but later decided to back up to that previous screen and couldn't get there. Everything I tried failed to get me back to that "private pension" screen and nothing worked. Oh what the heck, maybe the state tax people will figure it out, if not, I'll be a few bucks ahead.
What's great about it: Most subjects are covered very thoroughly, but...
What's not so great: getting help on an unusual situation can be frustrating.

Don't Have to Think

Turbo tax is great and does all of the hard work for you. Just put in the numbers it asks for. Easy to use - although the step-by-step process can be a little slow because there are so many categories I didn't actually need.
What's great about it: Easy to use, don't have to think - just put in the numbers asked for
