This is my 14th year using Turbotax. It has been easy to use, including transferring information from year to year. I do not like the fact that I cannot review older returns unless I load the old program. I wish there was a way to do this with something like a universal reader.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: could not find one topic in a search

Federal good... Connecticut... not as much

The state of Connecticut program is a little lacking on details... the cross references which were found through the Federal return... and the ability of the program to cross reference back to the Fed program, and check within itself for duplicates, etc...
And I'm pretty sure there's an error in the documentation/help...
For example... the way that the program explained how CT income taxes deducted on Federal Schedule A need to be added back into CT income... so I fill in a block... and I'm pretty sure I followed the instructions... yet after I proofed my return before I e-filed... I had added it back in twice, because TurboTax did it automatically... but it "told me to"... and the way TurboTax guides you through it, it doesn't have you print to review it before filing... only after... lucky for me I'm suspicious and don't trust the program.

Easy Peasy

I don't have a difficult return, but it does have a few twists and turns. Going back to review is easier than ever, and I go back a lot to verify my information. It is wonderful to be able to pick up where you left off, even if it's two weeks later. I love watching my refund (or payment due) at the top of every page. it's usually encouraging. Finally, automatically importing and comparing information from last year's return makes it simple for me to do this annual task.
What's great about it: i like the way TurboTax walks you through every possible step.

Super Easy!

Honestly I was nervous at first and I didn't think I could do it, but I gave it a try and I will continue using turbo tax every year. There were a few items I never realized I could deduct. Thanks Turbo Tax

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I was considering throwing in the towel this year and hiring a tax accountant.
I had to purchase Turbo Tax Business since we have newly formed LLC.
To my amazement I was able to file the LLC with ease thanks to Turbo Tax
The personal return was made that much easier too since I had my K-1's in a timely fashion

What's great about it: Turbo tax uncovered items I would not have considered looking into

Turbo Tax is great, I have used it for two years now and have had great success in filing my returns with maximum deductions
What's great about it: No Accountant!
What's not so great: Consumes an hour of life
Pros: I had a baby
