Very easy to use, assuming you have all the forms.
What's great about it: Easy to use, easy to file
What's not so great: many updates throughout the months, always wonder what's wrong at any given time...

TurboTax Federal and State Returns software

I was fairly well satisfied with the process. A little less of a refund than last year, but I was expecting that.
What's great about it: Just like playing follow the leader.
What's not so great: A sligtht glitch where the program told me something then evidently forgot it or so it seemed.

my federal return kept picking up an error for my dependant. i kept putting the infromation in and kept adding dependents to my personal infroamtion. Had to redo this area and the problem went away

The step by step guide helps me get through my taxes with complete ease also you can search by topic and be guided along the way. great software.
What's great about it: love the step by step guide.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax is good, easy to use and covers everything. Don't like that it has been outsourced to India. Will use TurboTax until I find something better.
What's great about it: Works well, easy to use and file
What's not so great: Don't like tax returns handled by India, woudl prefer records were handled in US

Bummed by having to pay

I like being able to see how I'm doing (refund or payment due) throughout the course of the tax return. It gets me motivated to think harder about deductions I may be qualified to take. I didn't realize I could do a debit deduction from my checking account so that's very convenient.
What's great about it: Easy process which I enjoy
What's not so great: Finding out I still have to pay
