Easy filing from beginning to refund.

There are clear instructions inside the program. It is easy to go forward in the tax forms,, skip sections, and return to previous sections.

Quicken has almost reach a point where it is to easy to do taxes. I don't know where they are going to take the software from here, it is hard to improve such a great product.
What's great about it: Quicken has made the itemization of deductions so easy, it is easy to give.
What's not so great: There are no Cons this year. They were fixed
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Using it for years

I've been using Turbo Tax for years and really wouldn't file my taxes any other way. It's incredibly easy to use. All I have to do is collect my info and then Turbo Tax walks me through the entire process. I highly recommend using Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: easy, quick, and can do it last minute
What's not so great: state is supposed to be free, but isn't

Great software and easy to manage. I recommended that tool to a few friends and I will use again the same system next year.

As always, TurboTax works, and all was e-filed before it was due. However, the more deductions you have, the more you must have all paperwork. Also, the program has deductions listed that at are far outside the ranges for the average taxpayer, which only confuses us more. Keep it simple. Other than that, fine product.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Make sure you have your paperwork

Generally good, except the sales pitch

Also, the state filing was not free... I thought it included 1 free state filing. Not so much.
What's great about it: easy to follow guides to walk you through the itemized deductions; makes a very stressful situation easier to do
What's not so great: didn't like the scare tactics of the audit to sell audit defense protection

Easier Than One Would Think

It is a very fine product that allows a person to control and understand one's taxes. It's fast, easy, and affordable. There are plenty of avenues for extra help embedded in the software.
What's great about it: Easy, interesting, fast, error free
What's not so great: nada
Pros: I bought or sold investments
