So easy to use

I have used turbo tax for the last few years. It is so easy to use it makes tax season less stressful

My 2012 Tax Return

In the Military you can Retire at age 40 but since I am not 65, it asks me if I am Retired from the Railroad. I think there are a lot more Military than Railroad and think if you had a block to check as Retired Military would be a nice thing to add to serve us who served our Country and put our self in harms way. That's the least you could do for us who served. Every year the same thing about early distribution or Retired from the Railroad. Give me a break. That is my only problem until this year I had about printing and saving to PDF was a little hard to figure out and I've use TurboTax for many years. So please add the Military and make it easier for printing my copy of what was filed with the I.R.S. and State. Thank you...
What's great about it: Tranfers all of my information
What's not so great: Doesn't list me as Retired Military instead of Railroad Retired

2012 tax return

The easy do it yourself software that holds your hand and walks you through the mind bobbling process. Update to the date tax codes and easy to understand guides that even a first time Turbo Tax user will feel comfortable and confident.
What's great about it: Very quick and painless
What's not so great: the add-on fees at the end I was not expecting for e-file.

Last year, I did not have business income and expenses, everything was simple, straightforward and went smoothly. But this year I added business part, a few interview places are not clear, or user friendly. I had to google to get help to understand.
What's great about it: Saved me a lot of time
What's not so great: Business income and expenses part needs improvement

What's great about it: Really liked the step by step process that was provided
What's not so great: Not a big deal but you had to retype your info for each W2 1099 you entered

I used to do my taxes the long way with pencil and paper over several weekends or one really long night. With Turbo Tax I am done in several hours.
I would e-file but Turbo Tax does not yet have form 8606.
What's great about it: Saves a lot of time and missed deductions
What's not so great: Missing form 8606 / Sometimes too wordy
