Easiest Year Ever

I am a Pastor which means that I have that tricky dual filing status issue to work with and Turbo Tax was not only on the ball but knew exactly which schedule to file and how to navigate my status properly.
What's great about it: Imported all my info from last year and saved me tons of time

not as hard as I thought it would be

Using Turbo Tax was not as hard as I thought it would be. I have paid over $200 to have someone prepare my taxes and finally said enough. I'm organized so the step by step questions were easy to follow.
What's great about it: questions in easy to understand terms
What's not so great: wish had suggestions to increase your refund the next year

Child Care difficult

The part that did not make sense was the child care spending. Went through it the first time would not allow me to go into it. Only when I was in review did go back did I get my credit for spending money on child care. Could have costed me $600

Complex 2012 Return Went Well

We had dual state residency to contend with this year, but the help center provided easy to follow directions to make the program create the joint federal, single state filing requirements. As usual, the program does a nice job of walking you through all the steps and opportunities to complete everything with minimal stress..
What's great about it: Provided guidance through joint / single federal and 2 state filings
What's not so great: Would be great if one could do multiple state filings without the exercise of creating dual federal returns.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Fast and Easy

The hard part of taxes is getting all the forms together. But Turbo tax not only makes it easier to enter and summarize, it also makes it easier to print and submit.
What's great about it: Easy, Fast, Online.
What's not so great: Confusing flow at times.
