Turbo Tax does it again

Straightforward data entry and Q&A process....really like the ability to be led through each section OR jump into each on my own. After 4 years of filing via Turbo Tax it is really straightforward.
Love the electronic record archives as well!
What's great about it: Simple & quick
What's not so great: Had to manually update software
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Outstanding Product

Turbo Tax is a fabulous product! It helps to navigate even the most complicated tax situations. I've used it for well over 15 years and wouldn't consider any other tax prep software.
What's great about it: easy to navigate; great user interface; easy to get help
What's not so great: I hate the rolling balance at the top - wish I could turn that off until the very end.

I've been using TurboTax for 16 years. I have had absoulutely no problems with the software. The last few years my wife got involved and we do the taxes together as a team. Now she sees exactly what we pay in taxes,
What's great about it: easy to use. e-file included.
What's not so great: cost keeps increasing every year.

Tedious But Cheaper

If you are sure to double-check step-by-step wit the actual forms, you'll probably be okay. Use the Internet for any questions about tax tables current exemption classifications because Turbo tax doesn't tell you them all; they just pick for you. -w.
What's great about it: Cheap
What's not so great: Questions duplicate in step-by-step or are unnavoidable even when not necessary. Froms don't always match step-by-step.

Excellent tax prep tool

Turbotax simplifies greatly tax preparation. The ability to download financial information (wages, taxes, investments, dividends, etc.) from W-2s, 1099s, etc. is outstanding. The software flows logically.
What's great about it: Thorough, ability to transfer previous year's data, downloading financial information, easy to use.

Small problems

TurboTax said that if I click 'Yes' to a certain question then I cannot eFile. But when it came time to file it asked if I wish to eFile.
What's great about it: Very easy to enter information and not worry about what forms to use or where info goes
What's not so great: Small errors still exist
