Thank goodness for TurboTax. Been using it for several years and it performs without fail. If you can read and follow simple instructions you can do it. My return is relatively straight-forward but does include Social Security, pensions, investments and real estate. All of the forms would drive me nuts trying to do them correctly. Thankfully TurboTax does them for me and I can be comfortable in knowing that they are correctly completed. It's the only way to go.
What's great about it: Guaranteed accuracy
What's not so great: Knowledge of taxes is helpful but not required

one improvement for people who use your software each year would be to show the previous year data as you walk through the process.

Been using this software since its birth on the software market when it was called "Parsons" tax software many moons ago. Loved it then and still do
What's great about it: Ease of moving from tax situation to the other.
What's not so great: There is nothing not to like.

This service is very user friendly! Nice to be able to file your taxes at home and still be sure that they are done well.
