Piece of Cake!

The first year I decided to use tax software I purchased the three big players and TurboTax was clearly the easiest to use, asked the most questions, and found the most deductions - it came back with the biggest refund.
What's great about it: So easy to be walked through the process.
What's not so great: Doesn't organize my receipts for me ;-)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Best Tax Software Ever!

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years and Intuit has improved this product each year. I finished this year's return in record time. It took more time to gather my supporting documentation than it did to complete my return. The It's deductable feature was worth the price I paid for the software.

Better than I thought!

Hate doing taxes every year...procrastinated but using Turbo Tax was easy and less stressful than I thought or remember. Thanks for a great program.

Faster than Pencil

I don't like the state retirement income being lumped with all other IRA etc. income. I didn't know how to answer all the questions and may not have given the right answers. The question about Required minimum withdrawal didn't seem to make sense regarding retirement income.
What's great about it: Able to help me not forget something.
What's not so great: Too many items for someone who doesn't have lots of income/deductions.

I returned to TurboTax after some years, due to good reviews. I installed this program on my MAC. I am a MAC novice; however, the installation was not smooth. There was no instruction to remove the disc. Because of this, the updates did not occur automatically, as indicated by the pages of "help" I went through. Thanks to the "community" link, I found a USEFUL suggestion, which allowed me to update, so my return would e-file. Maybe this should be obvious to any MAC user, but it isn't to me. The TurboTax assistant takes you in circles without ever really answering the question. Thank God for the "community" link!
To get through the entire program and be foiled by an program update problem is unacceptable.
I am very disappointed. Fortunately, I didn't pull ALL my hair out, but there's a wad in the corner.
I used the Deluxe TurboTax version.

What's great about it: The "easy" way stepped thru everything nicely.
What's not so great: As a MAC user, the installation did not go smoothly, and instructions were incomplete.

I HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR MANY YEARS. TURBO TAX IS EASY, NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE. IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION, THEY CAN ANSWER IT OR HELP YOU GET THE ANSWER. I CAN DEPEND ON THEM TO MAKE SURE MY TAXES ARE CORRECT AND GET ME THE LARGEST REFUND POSSIBLE! TURBO TAX WILL EVEN TRANSFER YOUR INFO FROM PREVIOUS YEARS, WHICH IS A GREAT TIME SAVER, AND IT DOES NOT MISS A DEDUCTION. GREAT PRODUCT!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! TUBO TAX DOES ALL THE WORK AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO TAKE IT TO A TAX FIRM AND GIVE THE SO CALLED" TAX EXPERT" MOST OF YOUR REFUND!! YOU GET TO KEEP ALL OF IT.

What's not so great: Some background workings should let you know what is being calculated
