Even professionals use it!

This year I took a class to become a tax preparer and I still would choose TurboTax every time! I love how thorough the navigation is and I have the double check reassurance that I didn't miss anything.
What's great about it: Love the Navigation!
What's not so great: It can take quite awhile.

Turbo Tax is like an all in one kitchen food processor. Just as the food processor slices, dices, chops and makes the food preparation go more smoothly, so too, Turbo Tax slices and cuts away all the red tape and possible misunderstanding of filing your taxes. Updates are at your fingertips so while food processors can become outdated, Turbo Tax stays "fresh" and current with the times. Food processing represents a more "healthy" way of cooking; so too, Turbo Tax takes a healthy, honest approach to tax filing; looking for all the benefits while legitimately calculating your costs, if any. We may not always like what the "bottom line" is, but even then Turbo Tax offers tax "aids" to help reduce the risk and minimize the fiscal payment pain. Having used Turbo Tax for several years now, I am convinced it is the single best "tax tool" one could purchase. Thank you Turbo Tax for making filing taxes faster, more complete, less painful and more efficient than any other filing system out there. Like the food processor is to the cook: Turbo Tax is the ONLY tax processor needed for filing income taxes!
What's great about it: complete and honest. Up to date and fairly priced
What's not so great: none really- just have to do some up front work which is necessary with any filing process.

Love TurboTax

I love doing my taxes with TurboTax. I will probably need to upgrade to premium next year. It seems that TurboTax finds something each year that I do not expect, but that is why I use it. I start off using Easy Guide, then finish up manually changing data after that. I do have to enter a lot of information by hand that it should be able to get from Quicken, so am a little disappointed that it is not more automatic (charity contribution and medical deductions) since the information is available in the tax summary from Quicken! Nevertheless, it is a lot quicker than doing it myself, so I keep on buying it year after year.
What's great about it: Easy Guide is simple to folow. Imports most of my data.
What's not so great: Still need to indiviually enter some deductions, even though identified as such in Quicken.

Easy as it gets

Turbo tax is so user friendly, easy to enter basic info and see the green numbers keep on going up! excellent support help for questions. Even for difficult tax years, turbo tax pulls through!
What's great about it: CPA support and ease of filing
What's not so great: technical language
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Turbo Tax is quick and easy

Used turbo tax for the past several years. It is great. i have sold property, moved, have investments and it is so simple to input all the information and complete e filing.
What's great about it: easy use, great guides and easy navigation
What's not so great: none
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Overall a great program

This is a great program and I have been using it for >5 years. This is the first year I had such a problem with the self employment filing.
What's great about it: Entering data and helping with college student expenses was great
What's not so great: The glitch with self employment vehicle use was really annoying.
