Second time doing it was much easier

This is the second time I've used Turbo Tax. The first time took me some time because I was scared I would make a mistake. The second time took me half the time due to experience, and the amount of data that was saved from last year's return.
What's great about it: Saved all my information from my previous year's tax return.

It's a pleasure using Turbo Tax. I do my taxes and my families taxes from home and can stop and continue anytime I want to. It's a great way to save money from those companies who charge a fortune for what I do for free.
What's great about it: Easy filing, easy filling out
What's not so great: Better help with questions

It was easy to do. Now I will just have to wait and see. the IRS has audited me every year since 2005 and always I have to pay more than what is calculated and they don't explain why. This year I paid extra for support from Turbo Tax so I will have some help if audited.

Worked great

The program is easy to use & transferring info made made it easy, going back to review specific sections is tiedious. After entering all info per section, to review/update the info, you have to re-select answers/check boxes all over again.
What's great about it: transferring info from last year, made it quick to enter
What's not so great: when you need to go back to one specific section, you have to re-answer several questions to simply review a number.

Way To Go TurboTax!!!

I have not prepared my own taxes for many years, and was concerned that I was completely out of the loop as far as keeping up with the tax laws was concerned. I therefore decided to use TurboTax on a trial basis, but still have my actual return prepared and submitted professionally. After using TurboTax, however, and comparing the results with last years return, I have great confidence that I have covered all aspects and have decided to submit the return directly (and electronically) via TurboTax!

How you could tailor and sell another product

you need to make a senior citizen copy that isnt so costly for those of us who must file with both federal and state yet get no $$$$ back.....would give you another product and you could lead the field and get the senior business.
What's great about it: guides you
What's not so great: doesnt help senior's much if you get -0- and didnt let me e file when it said everything ok......whats up with that.....

Hip Hip Hooray! I'm Done

I've been using TurboTax since 2000. It's simple. Even when you have something a little tricky...like my daughter had a debt forgiven. They sent her a Form 1099-C. I didn't know if or where you would add it. But Turbo Tax did! It asks the questions, just like a tax preparer, and if you answer truthfully, it's pretty foolproof. And it doesn't charge you by the page. HA HA
What's great about it: Pretty easy for a non-nerd!
What's not so great: I like to see my return. Maybe you could get a split screen version.
