Been using TurboTax for years.

TurboTax most trusted tax software on market! Amazing how simple or if seasoned tax preparer it is to navigate. Support about program or tax questions easy. Forums are invaluable when needing quick information.
What's great about it: Every year I see simpler interface. Also ahead of curve for live support.
What's not so great: Wish I used Quicken simplifying paperwork.

I really don't like to be on the computer once I get home, but the program was easy to use and either guided you through every section or let you jump around as you need to.

Very difficult to understand and read the small text of the e-file process. TurboTax is becoming much to high tech for the average elderly person who has comfort with computing, but not all the 24/7 forms of electronic communications
What's great about it: Federal and State returns fairly easy to navigate
What's not so great: too many "commercials" and not as easy to navigate as in past years

Forms are behind the senes but available

When I printed out the forms after the process was complete, I was really surprised at how many pages of forms there were and how they were all filled out with information even though I never actually filled them out.
What's great about it: Youe answer questions and it leads you through with high level understandable questions
What's not so great: If you get out of sequence better remember where you left off

Best tax software

I have been using Turbo Tax since I decided to audit my accountant and found errors that cost me money. My husband and I have gone through several life changes and each time we have been easily navigated through the tax filing process and have received the best tax return possible. I swear by Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy to use and walks you through the process
What's not so great: none

Have been using for over 15 years, and love the product, and the e-file options. I like the ordering of the inputs and the nested menus/selections as one goes through each set of entries.
Just a few nits to pick.
The dividends section for foreign income (mutual fund) is complicated and confusing.
There should be an option to go through EVERY entry option, not just what was on last year's returns. If things change, you need to be prompted to enter those data as well!
Charitables need to be sorted by default.
What's great about it: Easy to go through, easy to go back
