Excellent Refund

Overall much better than other products. I have an MBA and a degree in accounting. Turbo tax makes more difficult returns easy to do.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax helps find many deductions and makes it easy.
What's not so great: It is sometimes difficult to find forms when I need to review specific forms.

Charitable Deductions

The charitable donation section for donating goods is very detailed and have a lot of choices. I was able to find almost everything I needed to put in for my deduction. My only complaint is that the valuation seems way too high in many cases, such as men's tshirts and sweaters. Also, there is nothing in any category for just "long-sleeved" shirts that are neither fleece nor rugby. Otherwise, it was good to add everything and be able to see a fairly accurate list of everything we had donated.
What's great about it: Very detailed; good step-by-step; lots of choices
What's not so great: Valuation of donated goods seems high; some descriptions are vague or missing

Some user interface glitches

I generally work from a boiled-down summary of my donations: the total given to each organization. TT asks for the date and amount of each donation, which is harder to get. I got around that by using "various" for all my donations, but I don't know if that's right when it's only one donation.
Also, it asks how much of my overpayment I want to apply to my estimated taxes this year, on a page that doesn't show the amount available. Maybe if there were an option for "all" or "100%"?
In general, I found that TT wanted more info than was required either for my accountant or to fill out the returns myself. Also, some things (like capital gains and tax-free interest) take two or more pages, which is just a little annoying.
Suggested improvement: allow "return" to advance to the next page, without having to tab to the "next" button. Also, allow control-F as a way of searching the current page, just like in a browser.
What's great about it: Easy to learn
What's not so great: Demands too much information

Overall, this is a great product. I've used it for several years now, and have been very pleased. Can't imagine using anything else.
Only one minor complaint - TY2012 version did not save my place when saving & exiting. Had to bookmark the pages in order for it to continue where I left off. Haven't seen this in previous versions, so hope it's just a one-time glitch.
Still, this is a very good product. Keep up the good work!
