Made it all easy!!

Turbo Tax surprised me this year with how well it walked me through the details surrounding the sale of my home. I was going to have to hire someone to get me through the details, but with the receipts that I had and all the hand-holding from the program, I got it all done.
What's great about it: Walked me through EVERYTHING, including the sale of my home

Turbo Tax is very user friendly. It's simpe to understand. I had my taxes completed and filed in 3 hours from start to finish.

Never try to outsmart the program

I had to check the IRS rules to find out if some things were taxable - like scholarships and 529 distributions. I knew they were not, but the program kept adding them as income until I filled out the tuition sheet. Those things should be linked.
What's great about it: It was easy
What's not so great: I could not direct enter EZ forms

I think it is good that you can ask the community questions and by finding the answers for that, You can also find other things that you hadn't thought about.

Still the BEST

Turbo Tax is very easy to use. Saves a lot of timw by transfering last year data. You are guided through out the entire process which helps keep the stress level to a minimum. I have been using it for at least ten years and will continue to do so.
What's great about it: Uploading data from previous year. Saves a lot of time.
What's not so great: I found none!
