appreciate the ease

I have been using turbo tax for several years and it has alleviated the stress of trying to do the taxes without this aid. Before turbo tax tax time was very stressful and aggravating. Now it only takes a relatively short time and I am very comfortable with the accuracy and that nothing has been missed
What's great about it: is thorough with questions

Takes too long to load. Navigating is difficult but overall to the amateur it works and does the job.
What's great about it: Does the job,takes care of all the calculations & forms
What's not so great: Too slow, difficult to go back & edit particular entries

All in all, it was an enjoyable experience--got a refund (as usual) but smaller--not working any longer!. I have been a loyal customer for many years and will continue to do so. I also file taxes for my son and daughter-in-law--they usually get nice refunds--I would rather have the money during the year instead of the end; I usually get a small refund--that's good!
What's great about it: been a turbotax user for several years--easy & clear
What's not so great: got a few errors on pages/topics I didn't use??
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TAX FILING FOR DUMMIES

OVERALL, IT IS MUCH BETTER THAN TRYING TO DO THIS ON YOUR OWN. IF I TRIED IT ON MY OWN, I WOULD HAVE MUCH LESS HAIR THAN I DO NOW.
What's great about it: LOTS OF HELP TO MAKE THINGS UNDERSTANDABLE.
What's not so great: I DID HAVE A BIT OF TROUBLE FINDING SOME ANSWERS

TURBO TAXED

I usually find this product easy to use. The problem this year was that the refund calculator didn't reflect any change when I entered the interest paid on my mortgage or on property tax. I had to run the return a second time to get things to run properly. The other members of my family had no problems but they don't pay either of those items.
What's great about it: The interview format helps me to be thorough.
What's not so great: Deduction calculator issues.

Saved me three dollars in an unexpected way

it saved me more than three dollars but i laughed when it mentioned that i could deduct my medical expenses at the state level. Awesome!!!
What's great about it: totally did not know about my ability to deduct medical expenses at the state level
