I bought this about a month ago. The 48,000BTU cooking surface puts a good char on steaks. I've also had good luck with pork tenderloins, burgers, and hot dogs. Placement of the potato rack inside the hood makes cooking taller items like beer can chicken awkward. The rack is not easily removed and replaced. Ceramic-coated grates are light weight and clean up easily.

This grill is great for a couple or the whole family. Had this for a month and just love all the features. Side burner is great to use with summer upon us. Don't heat up the house do it outside on the grill. from hot dogs to veggies to filet mignon. It cooks it all.

I purchased this grill 8 years ago and it is still going strong. I keep it under my patio cover and use it year round , I keep my grates clean and season them with pam cooking spray ( works for me ) . I use the side burner to light my charcoal chimney ( for my smoker ) from time to time but If I want to cook for a group and in a hurry it is the Char broiler that I turn to . This grill has served me well and cooked plenty of food for my kids party's and adult events as well .If this grill ever has to be replaced it will be with another Char broil product !

I have been using this Grill for about a year now. It was my first choice when buying a new Grill. The side burner is very hot and you need to be careful when using it. There are a little difference between the heat in the front and back of the grill when the lit is open. Over all I am very happy with it.

Bought the grill 4 years ago, bottom of fire box rotted away could not use it had to throw it away would not recommend buying a grill from your company if you paid me.

We're very sorry to hear of the issues encountered. How was the grill normally cleaned? Was a cover kept on the grill? To best clean your grill we recommend a nylon grill brush and warm soapy water or biodegradable grill cleaner.
