An awesome smartphone

I love my phone. Sharp, large, responsive screen make it a great experience. I love that it can multitask (watch videos while browsing, browse while on a phone call, decline incoming call with a message to caller, etc...) I got the 32GB version, so tons of storage capacity. I could add another 32GB (or even 64GB...I think), but I have no need to that much capacity right now.
Only a few things, if Samsung can implement, would make this or any future releases the best phone in the universe:
1) Minimize the time lag when exiting an app (by pressing the Home button or the Back button). There's about a 1/2 second delay now
2) Implement a way to lock the virtual buttons and the power switch when viewing a video (Hulu, Netflix, HBO, etc...) I keep hitting these buttons inadvertently and have to restart the app or the movie all the time.
3) Improve S-Voice (Samsung's response to Siri...close...but not as good)

I haven't had it long enough to learn how to use all the features but so far I love this phone!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: not enough details on how to use.

This phone was a long time waiting for me to purchase. I had seen the other leading phones and thought of purchasing however, I found myself going with the Samsung because I own 2 other products which I'm very happy with. Though the competition was tough, it came down to what I was familiar with and that is Samsung. This phone has exceeded all of my expectations so far. The only issue I have is looking at the screen outside during the day, it is hard to read the screen however, this is not deal killer for me. The only other regret? I should have bought the Note II.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, powerful multi-tasker
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than the Iphone

Had an iphone 4 and had many issues with shutting down, and I also didn't own any other mac devices. This has been the best purchase and wont be the last.

Don't push the limits

at first this thing was flawless. I use this for my office phone when I satalite and had I known (my bad) how quicly I would have gone through my 16G. I would have gotten the larger one. Now, I have had it for 5 months and it randomly turns off, backscreen blacks out, restarts itself, and Veizon will not replace it unless I do hard reset (which means I lose EVERYTHING). It has taken so much time to have this work perfectly for my office I am more than irritated, but if you are using it for recreational use. THEN IT ROCKS! Just don't push it the limits, its gets angry!

Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations
