Great buy !

Always bought Whirlpool appliances, recently went to ventless dryer. I live in a mobile home and since you didn’t have to have flex hose for the ventless dryer it takes less room. I am totally pleased with this dryer it might take a few minutes more but I noticed that my clothes dry softer and less wrinkled. Only thing I miss is a light in the dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using our dryer for two months now and love it. It has a little more noise than most but we just close the door! Like the towel, casual and bulky features. Towels seem softer. Ours is a laundry/bath combo so bath is always warm when we run the dryer, another plus!!

Well designed but for specific uses

We cannot vent our dryer so took a chance on exploring ventless machines that apparently have been extremely widespread in Europe for years. Chose the Whirlpool and am basically happy but it does seem to take extra time to get clothes super dry - depending on how stuffed you make the drum. I accept the humidity and heat as the machine is designed as a heat pump which concept should be understood by the buyer before purchasing. If so, comments of heat and humidity in the laundry room become baseless. Noise level seems to be equal to regular vented machines and yes, cleaning the three filter areas are mildly cumbersome but they support the efficiency of concept of being ventless so accept it as part of the equation or buy something else!

Love, Love, Love my new Whirlpool Duet Dryer!! I have never had a whirlpool dryer (I bought the washer too and love it just as much!) and I will never purchase a brand other than whirlpool! The number of available cycles and the steam option are great! The size of the loads are perfect for my family and its saving me money!

OK but Nothing Special

I bought this dryer to match the Whirlpool Duet Washing Machine I was buying. I had an old Whirlpool dryer which worked very well but I gave to a family member. This is a costly machine and does not impress. In fact, if you want your clothes truly dry you have no option but to use the timed cycle. Otherwise, it is "designed to keep your laundry in better condition" by not completely drying them. Yes, it is designed to leave your clothes damp. Incredible. Save your money and buy a cheaper model which will dry your laundry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ventless Dryer

Great having a dryer you do not need to vent outside. Energy savings are wonderful. Takes a little longer to dry but works great so far
