Glass has air bubbles. Replaced it and new one has the same defects.

I bought this microwave in January after doing extensive research. I wanted a microwave to fit in a specific space on the counter and, of course, a high quality and reliable microwave to boot! This sleek-looking model fills the bill. When I do my research I look at user reviews. Too many bad reviews and I hit the browser back button! This Whirlpool microwave consistently received reviews in the range of 3-5 stars. All of my other kitchen appliances (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher) are Whirlpool and I've been very impressed with Whirlpool quality and reliability. So, based upon the reviews, the Whirlpool reputation, and the features and specifications of this microwave, I made my selection. It's easy to use and very intuitive. I've only looked at the owner's manual once which says a lot about the ease of use. It also looks so much better than the clunky one I replaced - it has jazzed up my kitchen! I'd definitely recommend this microwave.

Easy to use and lots of new features

This is my first microwave with a turntable and I love this feature since I don't have to constantly open the door and change the position of the dish to heat up something.The "dinner plate" feature is fantastic as the food is all warmed through regardless of quantity and the texture of the foods. I am beginning to use this feature more frequently.I'm certain that this new microwave is saving us money on the electric bill as foods warm up in half the time.

not much for the money

Having a handle for the door is what drew us to this model. However, it is noisy when operating, the turntable is rocky and the end of cycle beep is annoying. Just another throw-away appliance.

Overall I am very pleased with my new microwave. Two very smalltake away points - the door seems to be a little bit flimsy, doesn't havethat solid feel to it and the finish signal is annoyingly loud, but that couldjust be me in the morning when I need quiet.The cabinet design is beautiful and a little more space saving comparedto my previous oven which means a lot when counter space is at apremium. Roomy enough on the inside but a little less power but what'san extra 30 seconds!
