Different. Some good, some not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Going on 3 months now and most of the adjustment is over. It is convection but the fan is going all the time so adjustments have to be made for everything. Plus, the upper oven has a weird harmonic vibration that is quite loud. Will likely have to call in for service as it can't be meant to do it.

Great cooking, but annoying fan(s)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven offers great cooking features and cooks evenly. However, the fan noise is unacceptable for the cost of this oven. We purchased a top-of-the-line KitchenAid dishwasher and were shocked at how quiet it was, but that was all for naught since it sits directly across from this behemoth that whistles like we're in a wind tunnel through every cooking experience.
It seems insane to go out of your way to laud the silent operation of your dishwashers and then push out a product in the same technology space (kitchen appliances) as loud as this sucker. Not to mention that the fans stay on for an eternity after the oven is turned 'off'. We had a service person out to look at it and were unfortunately told that this was 'normal behavior' for this oven as it has to keep the circuit boards below 170 degrees to keep from burning them up. And don't think about opening the door to expedite the cooling, no, that will just cause a fuse in the control panel to blow.
I get that the fans have to be on, but does the air have to whistle the whole time? There must be a baffling modification that can be made to affect how the air is pulled/pushed through the oven body/fans in order to accommodate the required cooling. It just seems like a poor design.
Again, we love the cooking features and everything seems to cook well with this oven, but I would expect that for what we paid for it. It's the overall 'cooking experience' where this oven falls short, and, in my opinion, deserves to be docked 2 stars: first, the fan/air noise is inordinately loud and second, the fans stay on for a ridiculous amount of time following a cooking cycle. In an age of 'open concept' kitchen/living spaces, the noise from this oven (it's just an oven!!) is unacceptable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing that I don't like is the buzzer to let you know that the stove has preheated. It is to soft and many times I do not hear it. So the cooking time has already started before the meal gets in the oven.

Sadly, after 14 loyal years, my double wall oven went to "oven heaven" but has been happily replaced by a much newer version. I love my new Kitchenaid double oven just as much and am certain it will stand the test of time eventhough I give it a daily workout!
