Glass doors break

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was installed 8/2014 and within 15 months, both interior glass panels have broken on the doors. They both broke in the same place at the top near the screws. My guess is that the heat from the self cleaning function is a cause. I am no longer using the self clean function.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We had a big family dinner the other night and used both ovens and it worked out great and then we put things in our Kitchen Aid warming drawer while the rest of the dinner was getting done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It almost reminds me of American cars. Great technology and innovative features but one wonders about the manufacturing and craftsmanship. Materials seem to be fine. But ours is noisy. I've never heard of a noisy oven until this one. The fan (which stays on too long in my opinion) vibrates the entire unit and subsequently, the cabinets. Not enough to cause any damage mind you, but just enough to be annoying. However the temperatures are consistent, fairly accurate and it's given us lots of yummy dishes during these last 4 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a spacious sleek contemporary looking double oven. You can't even begin to use all the space except for Thanksgiving. It does take a long time to preheat and fan runs a long time in cool down phase. To me fan is noisy but performs well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old builder grade GE double oven was the worst! It was unpredictable; most of our food was burnt on the top and raw on the bottom. My new kitchenaid is large, beautiful and reliable. Now, if food burns, it's my fault! The windows are extra large and so are the racks. I can cook an entire batch of cookies using both ovens at once! How amazing is that?! Our salesman said the #1 complaint is the fan noise, but if you've had a GE, this tiny, buzzy noise is nothing. Now, I'm ready to Kitchenaid my entire kitchen.
