[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used one of the two ovens once so far. Not so great: It took a half hour to pre-heat to 400 and a half hour for the fan to stop. This may be normal for a wall convection oven - not sure. Great: Looks beautiful inside and out. Easy to use control panel. Lots of adjustable racks, that slide nicely. Cooked evenly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this oven about a year and a half ago and hate it. The fan runs even when not set for convection. Food browns faster in the front so we have to turn the pans around to get close to even baking. Takes a long time to heat up and even longer to cool down. Seems to use a lot of energy by doing that. Can't figure out the timing when converting recipe to convection. Will turn off before done because it ask for baking time when turning oven on to preheat. The only positivebisbthat the inside is pretty and it looks good on the outside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very unhappy with this oven. Whirlpool/Kitchenaid appliances are all I've ever owned and this by far is the worst appliance they've ever designed.
Uneven cooking, cooling fans run up to an hour after the oven is shut off, takes for ever to preheat.
It looks good and is pretty is the only positive thing I can say about this oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Architect Series II Double Wall Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mixed reviews. They take a long time to pre-heat (at least 20 minutes). The fans were very noisy and run for a long time during and after use. I had the fans replaced and now they are much improved. Top oven was about 10 degrees too hot but I learned how to calibrate the heat by modifying the settings. Even after calibration, I cannot use the top rack of the upper oven or things will burn. We have to be strategic about where to place the racks. The bottom oven is more even and predictable than the upper oven.

Love New Double Oven Except For One Thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like everything about our new Kitchebaid 30" Convection Double Wall Oven Architect Series II except for the fact that when it is hot, the strong cooling fans for the internal electronic parts is so loud that it sounds like you have left the outside door open in wind storm...it whistles. Or, that you have a space heater on, which is also about the amount of heat it puts out. You get use to it but it does whistle a bit and it would seems that a minor change to the exhaust ducting would reduce the whistle to just a wind sound which would be preferred. I have heard this complaint before and wonder why with so many of these ovens being sold someone at KA and Whirlpool does not fix it as a running production change.
