The stainless knobs also make the unit more pleasing to the eye. Not only looks good, but works great, heats evenly fast and cools same. Lights indicating hot surface and burner on, are easily seen.
Pros: easy to use, Convenient Features, Design, Functional
Cons: burner rings not visible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in July.2014, spent over $900 for black glass top, after using the stove for one month it was clouded markings in black glass that can't remove. Had rep from appliance store to check it out..told us it was a definite problem under the glass. He told us the results of his inspection would be passed to a higher division to make a decision of his findings. He said it may take a week or two at the most but we would hear from them. SURRREEE.. It is now 3 weeks NO ONE HAS CLLLED ABOUT THE STOVE TOP..They are blowing us off!!!! Have a new $900 Black glass stove top which looks like it was used for 5 years,it is terrible to maintain ,keep clean and has marking imbedded under the glass that are unsitely...NEVER AGAIN,Kitchen Aid! Just wondering how ALL the other appliances will hold up??? Not holding my breathe!

Great features, expecially the "simmer" feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just renovated our kitchen in a house we bought a year ago, and I insisted on buying a Kitchenaid cooktop in the process, much like the Kitchenaid cooktop we had at our old house. Years later, this one is much nicer, with great features like the 'warmer' burner, and the 'simmer' feature which my other one did not have. So easy to clean. Looks gorgeous in my new kitchen! I definitely recommend this model for the price.
