Love my new refrigerator, sleek design and really like the LED lights.Have used whirlpool for years and have always been impressed with their quality products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy with this fridge especially how everything lights up when you open the doors. It's quiet and Love the feature where it tells you how many ounces and cups of water you are dispensing.

ICE CUBE FAILS

I had over 9 service calls. The ice maker failed.I had two freezer doors and at least two ice makers replaced. The ice maker quit and poured water inside and outside the freezer door.The refrigerator is being replaced at my expense for setup. I hope their are no problems with the replacement!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Icemaker unrepairable

I bought last year and icemaker never worked. The Manufacturer would not replace the refrigerator after 4 service calls. They sent a new door and it was not the same sheen and had a dent in it.to this day I don't have a replacement refrigerator that I am being promised.I called Whirlpool and they were not wanting to discuss that I had a icemaker that needed being replace and not a whole door. Serviceman said that there was four computer boards trying to communicate in the icemaker and he told me in advance what was going to happen and he was right. No new refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just right for the setting

We had a very restrictive setting for a refrigerator due to a stationary set of cabinets surrounding the "hole" for a fridge. Careful measurement was everything. This wonderful Whirlpool was just the ticket. It's interesting to see a variety of customer reviews for this fridge, ranging from "just right" to "warning, stay away from it." The fridge we purchased however turned out to be just right! It fits beautifully. The glossy finish fits perfectly with the other appliances we have installed in our kitchen. And the most important thing is that it seems to run just as it was designed, super refer side, super freezer side. We really didn't want a side by side, but seemed to have no choice. But now we are very happy with our purchase. We appreciate the workmanship that went into designing and building it, and now how it actually works. I've heard that most refrigerators don't last like the earlier models. Our last one (another brand) lasted 23 years with only minor issues, all fixable. I wonder if this one will last like the one we had before it. Only time will tell. Just in case, we did purchase an additional longer warranty "just in case." For now, it works so very well, and we are pleased with our purchase.
