My refrigerator came with the townhouse when I bought it in 2007. Now my refrigerator is not working at all. It broke down right before Thanksgiving and I am a senior citizen and can't afford to get it fixed or get a new one right now. I want to go back to Maytag. A brand I grew up with and trust. Oh, and the ice maker, something was wrong with that. They ice always tasted salty for some reason.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The black finish makes it easy to keep clean. There is a great amount of space in the doors and freezer. It is a quiet unit and is very energy efficient. Great appliance!

The overall appearance of the refrigerator fits in any design setting. It has ample storage space and easy to adjust settings. Construction feels solid and interior design is functional. Organization of shelves and storage spaces is well thought out.

Basic fridge with a stainless steel look. The design could have been better by making use of a lot of wasted space. The shelves seem to be made of cheap material.

It is really a nice looking fridge, but I wish that I could dispense water or ice from the door even if the other door is open....this is weird.

This refrigerator keeps everything cold and is so roomy. I especially love the ice maker and filtered water outside of the door, so handy. It is a beautiful stainless steel, so shiny and big.

WE ARE EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH OUR NEW WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR. IT HAS AMPLE AREA TO STORE EVERYTHING THAT A LARGE FAMILY HAS, ALONG WITH LARGE FREEZER DRAWER. WE LOVE THE ALARM THAT WILL SOUND IF NOT CLOSED COMPLETELY, AND EVERY PARENT WITH SMALL CHILDREN WILL AGREE. IT IS VERY EASY TO OPERATE THE CONTROLS AND LOOKS AMAZING. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
