Quiet but I don't like the options.

There is only 1 light setting. BRIGHT! I thought hoods have a low/bright setting. Not this one. Choosing fan speeds is very different too. There are 3 buttons-Low, Medium, High but to get the fan on high you have to push the low fan speed, then medium, then high. Its strange that I just can't select the high setting. Every button should also be the on/off switch. Instead just the low button is the on/off button for the fan. So if i want it to go to high immediately I will just keep high selected at all times and then press the low/on/off button to turn the fan on. Just seems unnecessary and isn't discussed in the manual. The best part is the fan is super quiet though even at the highest setting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacement Light bulbs are an issue!

I love the look of this product. The fan is excellent although a touch noisy on high.My biggest issue is that replacement light bulbs are not sold anywhere! You can order them for $35/bulb from whirlpool! Not impressed. My first light bulb burnt out within 8 months of use. Why build a product with such a hard to find basic part?

It really SUCKS (a good thing)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for the kitchen remodel/expansion and we are not disappointed. We had the microwave over the stove and that was the only ventilation we had when cooking. Not so good when it's overpowering smells like curry or even garlic. This hood is a great investment. We did need to modify the top so it would be mounted higher than normal. Looks expensive but super affordable!

We recently purchased the Wall Mounted Hood and are delighted. The product looks and works perfectly. We are very happy with the purchase. We also purchased previously a 30" electric stove and 36" french refrigerator. We are delighted with all of our products. Thanks
