This oven looks great. It takes a little getting used to the controls but after that is it relatively easy to use. The biggest complaint about this oven is that it takes forever to preheat. It is also very noisy and takes along time to cool down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased this combination unit with our new home, because we loved the clean looks of this combination microwave and convection oven. Now after using it for a month we like it even more because of the performance of both the microwave oven and the convection oven. It cooks as good as it looks!

Overall it's a great wall-oven combo but like previous reviews have stated the fan is a little loud and it does take a bit longer to pre-heat. The fan stays on for a good amount of time once the cooking (baking oven) is complete. This may be because it's a wall oven and I've never had one before so maybe it's a different cooling method than normal ovens. The microwave fan also stays on once the cooking is complete but this sometimes is a good reminder so I don't forget the plate or dish that's in the micro-wave. Really clean design that goes well with the new kitchen. The oven light is very bright and makes it easy to see what's inside cooking! The timer can be a little confusing at times only but just takes a bit of getting used to. The blue interior for the baking oven is super pretty and all our guest have commented on it. Overall very happy with the purchase so far, bakes well and microwaves well. Just wish the fan was a little quieter...but overall wouldn't replace it. Esp. because this is one of the few wall micro-wave and baking oven combos! It looks MUCH nicer than a wall oven with seperate micro-wave oven on top!

We just built a new house with Kitchenaid appliances. The upper microwave/convection oven is a bit hard to master. The display has gone to just dashes and I can't figure out how to get the words to reappear. Cooks well as a microwave, haven't used convection. The lower oven is great, though it takes a VERY long time to pre heat! I love the look, though it holds all fingerprints and are not too easy to remove.

This products is pleasing to the eye. A great addition to any kitchen. The performance is exceptional. I wouldn't have purchased any other product. The down side to this is that it takes a bit of time to warm up. Unless you get in the habit of using rapid preheat (which I haven't seen on any other product) and use that all the time, the wait is quite long. Other than that, I am 110% happy with this purchase.
