great product for the money

The product is great, but the only thing I would have to say is that sometimes in the front of the washer there is a lot of residue in the rubber that we have to clean. If you have pets and you wash their blankets or anything that they use, the hair will not drain and go away, but you have to clean it in the washer after the load is done.
I would recommend this to a friend!

3 hours for a single wash

We have had nothing but front load Whirlpools for the last 15 years. Wish I had the old ones back. This newest one runs 2 or more hours on short cycle. Says 59 minuets for normal but takes 3 hours. replaced motor control board and CCU board. Worked OK for a day or two and now time of wash keeps getting longer and longer.Repair man says we are doing something wrong. How can that be if it works once or twice fine but then starts dragging and dragging and we do nothing different. Plus we owned a Duet prior with never an issue.Not happy at all. Going to start buying another brand of all my appliances. With the need to replace 2 kitchens worth of stuff Whirlpool just missed out on my loyalty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Product should come with turkey baster

Bought this unit about a year ago. Everytime we use the washer it smells to high heaven. Upon investigation we found standing water under the rubber lip surrounding the washer. After each use we now take a turkey baster and remove about 1 cup of water. We clean the washer frequently with the recommended solution (expensive) but if we dont remove the water immediately after each use it smells the whole time it is running. Will never buy another front loader.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very happy with product

The auto load sensing for detergent and water level is excellent. Just throw the clothes in and hit the on button. The noise level is not bad but sounds enough like the garage door going up that the dogs start barking. They are getting used to it. Wish the water in the seal would drain so we didn't have to write out our worry about mildew. Still very happy with product and would recommend.

Quiet for a front loader

The machine is beautiful and I enjoy the cartridge for liquid detergent. There are several options for cycles, but it would be good if the machine remembered the last setting or that a few could be customized. Each time I have to select each part of what I want. It shouldn't be that complicated to run a normal cool water load, and not have fast spin as the default.

I love how easy this machine is on my clothes, but how thoroughly it cleans them at the same time. The spin stage does such a great job, making the drying time so quick. The clothes come out feeling soft, despite the fact that I don't use fabric softener. I don't understand, but it makes me happy!

Bad Machine

Bought theWFW96 machine and the second load of laundry the machine started leaking. Hole in the dischange tube inside the machine and one of the stablizer shocks was broken. I returned the machine and purchase the WFW94 and could not be more happy with it.

Great washer, good features.

I really like everything about this washer with one exception. At the end of the wash cycle, some of the clothes are still plastered to the drum. My previous front loader did a better job of releasing them. I think an improvement here would remove wrinkles even better.
