I did have one problem with this washer. The bleach and fabric softener wasn't being dispensed. That was a big problem because you don't want bleach to be dumped onto the wrong clothes. So I scheduled service. Then I thought about it, and the washer was, like, perfect, except for the Precision Dispense thing, so what was going on? Why would one think like that not work? I stared at the thing. It said nothing. Next day I was determined to try one more time before letting the service guys fix it, so I turned it on and right there in front of my eyes was a weird error code flashing. So I looked up the error code in the user guide, and it said "Check for proper water supply." I grabbed the water valves and noticed one of them wasn't open all the way. I opened it up and heard a surge of water through the pipes. Voila. Cancelled the service call. This washer is great. Looks great, sounds great, works great. You just have to make sure you feed it electricity and water pressure.

I really enjoy this mean kicking Whirlpool. This is better than my old GE. Not only does the sounds of music comes in-play. But my clothes smell and feel cleaner. BUT JUST ONE THING, You have to push the door pretty hard to get it shut. The soft touch face panel, the gentle turn of the knob for settings and then the door. It's like the door does not belong to the washer. But hey, With that mush mean kicking high speed spinning cleaning, you might need to make sure that door is close tight. If you want a big tub. Here it is. If you want clothes clean. Here it is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

High maintenance, smelly machine!!!

I have purchased Whirlpools before and been very satisfied. This machine, however, has a terrible design. Despite cleaning monthly as instructed and leaving the doors open after each use, the plastic has gotten moldy and the machine leaves my clothes smelling terrible. Who wants to wipe down their washing machine after each use??? High maintenance!!! The pull out where the detergent goes gets mildew build up and needs to be cleaned regularly despite pulling it out and letting it air dry on top of my washer once I'm done with laundry. Yuck!!! Purchase at your own risk!!!
