I am forced to use electric in my house and never been that happy with my cooktops until now. This is so superior to anything else I have used. The control you have over the heat is superb and the various special features excellent to have. I had looked at induction but did not want to have to replace my favorite pans.
This solves the problem and some. Easy to work with and I can finally control the heat.
Look no further than this fabulous cooktop if you need electric. Looks great too!

Love the look and performance of this KitchenAid cooktop. Heats up very quickly and evenly. Found it a little harder to clean than my old cooktop, but still worth the little extra effort that takes. Definitely recommend.

Scratches very easy and no way to remove them. Also, wish someone would tell me a quick way to clean without having to use the commercial cleaner. When it is not very dirty I would like to spray some form of cleaner on quickly and wipe it without streaks.
Sure hope you have a solution for that. Also, never realized how large the one burner is and how close the back burners are to each other. One more thing. Would be nice to see where the burners are without turning them on first.

We do recommend using Soap, water and a soft cloth or sponge. Always wipe with a clean, wet cloth or sponge and dry thoroughly to avoid streaking and staining. affresh® Cooktop Cleaner (Part Number W10355051B) is recommended for regular use to help avoid scratches, pitting and abrasions, and to condition the cooktop. It may be ordered as an accessory. Cooktop Scraper is also recommended for stubborn soils. Feedback from our customers is an important source of information.
