I HATE the noise it makes. It is very loud when its on. (not just the convection oven). I can hear it running at least 2 rooms away from the kitchen. After I turned the oven off, it ran for over an hour to cool down. Just imagine baking something that takes hours - have to listen to it the entire time + the time it takes to cool down. I'm not a happy camper.
The only reason I would not recommend this to a friend is because of the noise level!!

Sleek but noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good looking oven with wonderful features, though mine does seem to be running a little hotter than my old oven. The biggest drawback (which I was aware of in theory before purchasing) is the length of time it takes to cool down coupled with the "wind tunnel" sounds emitted until the unit shuts off. Not enough of an issue to keep me from making the purchase, but I underestimated the noise level. It really is noticeable in an unfortunate way.

The fan runs almost constantly from the time it is turned on until well after it is turned off.The oven works well and I appreciate and like all the other features, including the large clear window on the front and the smooth running rack on the top oven.however, I would never buy this oven again because it is so noisy.
