We purchased our house in April 2015. Based on paperwork left by previous owners, I believe this oven was installed in our home November 2014. It is now the first week of June 2016 and it hams been about a week since our oven would power on. We used it to prepare dinner one evening and turned it off. A little while later we noticed that the LCD clock on the oven wasn't lit. Nothing would turn on even after flipping the circuit breaker. From what I have been able to research online these ovens consistently blow fuses and then will not power up, especially if the self-clean feature is used. I was satisfied with this oven prior to this occurrence but did find the controls to be a little annoying due to lack of intuitiveness. I have never had an issue with any other oven that I have owned before and they were all much older. A quality (and expensive) product would not require service after less than two years of service. Cannot recommend.

Disappointed with baking performance

Chose this oven for my recent kitchen remodel and so far am not happy with its baking performance. I have baked a couple of cakes and some cookies and both have not browned evenly. I even tried the ConvectBake feature thinking the fan would help with heat distribution, but that was not the case. When I baked the cake, I used 3 round pans and positioned them in the center of the oven. Each cake was literally half baked, so much so that half of each cake looked overbaked while the other side was barely browned. It was amazing. I don't know why that happens, but I suppose it has to do with where the fan is blowing the hot air. So I have to move the pans around to get them to bake evenly. Another concern is that the oven doesn't seem to keep the temperature constant while baking. Yesterday, when I checked my 350 degree oven after about 15 minutes of baking, it was actually on 315. I chose this oven because it had a lot of capacity, but this oven has been a real let down. Unfortunately, i am going to have to live with it for many years.
Pros: Design, Convenient Features, easy to use
Cons: uneven baking

The heating coils are above and not below the cooking grilles and thus makes it easy to clean. The viewing window is big and you can easily see the whole inside of the cooking area.

I really like this oven. The styling is great and it seems to cook well. I cook almost everything on the convection settings and I'm not sure I can tell much difference between that and the regular bake settings...but I haven't use the regular setting more than a few times. Love the blue enamel inside.
Pros: easy to use

We purchased our Convection wall oven over a month ago and could not be happier with our purchase. Our wall Microwave gave out and once we replaced that the 20 year old oven looked out of place, so out with old in with new. These 2 kitchen upgrades were our first Kitchenaid and we love them. I absolutely love the temperature probe and its functions. great and easy fast way to cook. Now for the new Kitchenaid Dishwasher.

Replaced my older Kitchen Aid convection oven when we remodeled to have matching ovens. The oven works very well, I love the huge front window. Even though I try to stop her, I find my granddaughter with her hands and nose pressed against the glass watching the cookies baking. Glad it doesn't get too hot! My only complaint is the rattling noise it sometimes makes when it cycles. It doesn't always happen, and I haven't had a chance to have a repair person come yet, but it is very loud and annoying when it does. It will be embarrassing when we have company. I read in other reviews this is a problem. Other than that, I love it!
